JHWalter LLP CV19 Working Update

England will enter a second period of lockdown to combat the spread of coronavirus on Thursday, 5 November. The JHWalter teams remain available to assist and work with you whilst working within government guidance and advice.

  • Property
  • Business
  • Planning
  • Energy

We will continue to work as normal with a mix of essential office working and home working and we expect that business can continue without interruption despite the new restrictions. We will keep in touch by telephone, email and video-conferencing where face to face meetings are not possible.  We believe such meetings remain possible in certain circumstances.

The housing market remains open and we continue to provide a full service in Property, Business, Planning and Energy.

We are pleased to advise you that the Housing and Property market are to remain open during lockdown. Robert Jenrick, secretary of state for housing, communities & local government has confirmed on Twitter that the housing market will remain open throughout the second period of England’s lockdown. Homeowners will be able to move, removal firms and estate agents can operate.  Construction sites can and should continue, tradespeople will be able to enter homes but all must follow the Covid safety guidance.

The safety of all in the buying and selling process remains of paramount concern to us and our procedures for all visits and viewings are based on government guidance.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if there are any matters of particular concern regarding your personal circumstances or property.  We would like to thank you for your continued co-operation with the new normal and above all hope that you and your family stay safe.
