Renewable Energy Apprentice

JHWalter are looking for a bright, enthusiastic Renewable Energy Apprentice to join our team. Reporting to Energy Manager within the Planning and Energy Team, working for/with all energy and planning colleagues on appropriate projects. The post is expected to be split roughly 80:20 between Energy and Planning.

Duties and Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Support the work of the Energy Team with training, support and guidance from the Energy Manager and other planning and energy colleagues
  • Assist in completing ongoing RHI Submissions including data entry work and taking responsibility for the creation of draft submissions
  • With guidance from the Energy Manager assist with improving the efficiency of current working practices
  • Organise and maintain the Energy paper and digital filing system and make it readily available
  • Assist in the development and delivery of Marketing including the delivery of e-shots, web post and helping ensure an active presence on social media platforms
  • To become acquainted through appropriate training with up to date energy legislation and policy, undertaking appropriate CPD to achieve this
  • Support the professional work of the energy and planning teams in whatever capacity required, including occasional evenings and weekends where appropriate

RICS Chartered Valuation Surveyor

A successful candidate will have excellent and proven experience in all aspects of valuation and building surveying. While the core work of our valuation team is residential valuation including Homebuyer reports and building surveys, applications from candidates with commercial valuation and building surveying skills would be welcome.

The successful applicant:

  • must be a registered valuer
  • able to undertake accurate surveys, well supported valuations
  • have excellent report writing abilities
  • likely that you will have at least 2 years’ experience post qualification
  • be capable of working independently on a variety of interesting property

You will be joining an existing team with opportunity for career development. Whilst the office is based in Lincoln, working from home is also anticipated, and you will provided with the necessary equipment to operate a home office including laptop, printer tablet etc..

In return we are offering the chance to work in our professional and friendly team, and are looking to offer the following package:

  • Basic Salary between £35,000 to £45,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
