We are looking to expand our busy Rural Team based in Lincoln. We welcome applications from surveyors with all levels of experience.
We are looking for new team members to undertake rural sales agency and purchases, landlord and tenant advice, valuation, development advice, auctions and providing general advice to our established client base of mainly owner occupiers and tenants. There are also opportunities for commercial work. We can offer candidates the opportunity to establish themselves and, for experienced candidates, a large degree of autonomy with opportunities for career progression. We always seek to enable team members to focus on the area of work which best suits their strengths whilst working together as a team.
Candidates will be team players, self-motivated, show good attention to detail, adaptable and proactive to promote the best solution available to the client. Ideally the candidates will have a least a couple of years’ experience post qualification but we also wish to discuss opportunities with candidates at all points within their career. CAAV Fellowship is preferable but not essential.

Due to ever increasing demand for our planning services, the team continues to prosper and we require knowledgeable, enthusiastic and motivated Planners to join us. You need to be able to commit to the strong customer focus of JHWalter with the professionalism, experience and personality to quickly establish yourself within a flexible team. You will be involved with all aspects of residential and commercial planning.
As an experienced Planner you will have experience of a variety of planning applications in urban and rural contexts, the Development Plan process, enforcement issues and an imaginative approach to achieving high quality planning permissions. Experience of working with EIA’s, S106’s and experience of the appeal process is desirable as is experience with both the public and private sectors. The successful candidate will have a degree in Town Planning (or equivalent) with at least 3-5 years post qualification experience, a member of RTPI, and have good IT and communication skills.
