Martin is one of the original 12 founder members of Brown&Co.

Martin has had a very wide experience of work in his professional career and that has involved large-scale agency transactions, estate management, dispute resolution (arbitration, mediation, and tribunal work).  Martin currently specialises in development land transactions and in particular option and promotion agreements, joint ventures, and viability appraisals.  Martin is a specialist on onshore wind farms and most recently has been involved in a number of large-scale solar projects.  Martin is a registered RICS Valuer undertaking all types of valuation work and has also been involved recently in several DCO infrastructure schemes and projects.

Martin is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers.  Martin has been a past Chairman of the Lincolnshire branch of the RICS and sits on the RICS Working Party on tenancy agreements.  Martin is also a past Chairman of the Lincolnshire Association of Agricultural Valuers.  Martin is a Member of the Compulsory Purchase Association and Agricultural Law Association.

Embracing the aforementioned specialisms, has involved work with institutional, corporate and private clients.  Martin is the firm’s lead on the HS2 Project.  Currently operating under two contracts including a main Framework Agreement for a section of the Phase 1 route and across the whole of the HS2 portfolio, a Discretionary Valuation Service instruction.
