Michael joined the company in June 2010 as Senior Planner Michael relocates from Durham and brings to JHWalter significant planning experience of more than six years working in planning teams with Sanderson Weatherall, Newcastle, Government Office - North East and Nathaniel Lichfield and Partners. Michael graduated with a BA (Hons) degree and diploma in Town Planning from Newcastle University and is a full member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. Michael adds specific urban and commercial planning skills together with regional planning and regeneration experience to the team. Michael works with private and corporate clients, and in addition to preparing planning applications, he prepares appeals and responds to consultations on behalf of landowners and developers.
