Henry was called as an expert witness in a case of a farm business going into receivership. The receivership was acrimonious from the start and the farmer subsequently alleged that the farm had been mismanaged resulting in loss of profit. In his judgement following a twenty day trial in the Leeds High Court Judge Langan stated that, “if an expert witness as impressive as Mr Denchfield expresses a view on agricultural mismanagement……the court should be slow to depart from his opinion.”
